When you scan a code

• The code you scanned and the time.
• Your approximate area, worked out from your internet connection. We keep only a scrambled form of your internet (IP) address — never the address itself.
• Your exact location (GPS), only if you tap the verify button and allow it. If you don't, the town you pick, if you pick one.
• Your type of device and browser.

If you register for warranty or the lucky draw

Your name, mobile number and, if you enter it, your city.

If you run a shop in Scan & Earn

• Shop name, owner's name, mobile number, district, address and, if you save it, the shop's location.
• Your PIN, stored in a scrambled form that nobody can read back.
• The packs you scan, the points you earn, and the number you give us for cash-outs.

Why we use it

• To check that products are genuine and to find copied or fake labels.
• To understand where our products are sold, and improve distribution.
• To contact you about your warranty, or if you win a lucky draw.
• To pay Scan & Earn points.

Who sees it

We do not sell your information and we don't share it with other companies, except: the payment number you give us is used to send your cash-out (JazzCash, Easypaisa or mobile load), and we will share information if the law requires it. Our website and database hosting providers store the data on our behalf.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can ask us to see or delete your registration or your shop account at any time.
